Making your “Marque” TODAY!

The current “Make Your Marque Campaign for Iota Pi” goal is $350,000. As pledges are collected, contributions will be utilized in a tiered approach to fund Priority #1, then Priority #2, and finally, Priority #3. Should we exceed our campaign goal, proceeds above $350,000 will be invested in a perpetual Preservation Fund, to maintain our property. So, what are the priorities, and what progress has been made so far?

PRIORITY #1

Status:
ALMOST COMPLETE!

Upgrade electrical service to accommodate anticipated load requirements.
Provide new lighting fixtures and LED lamping.
Provide WiFi capability.
Provide reportable smoke, fire and CO detection and alarm systems.
Provide a reportable sprinkler system for the building.
Provide energy efficient heating & cooling throughout.

PRIORITY #2

Status:
In Progress/Pending

Clean and evaluate masonry and stone work.
Replace existing porch and stairs with new treated lumber.
Replace existing roof membrane at 2nd-floor deck.

PRIORITY #3

Status:
Planning Stage

Furr out and GWB perimeter walls at lower level to allow for future installation of furnishings.
Replace existing porch and exterior stairs with concrete.
Replace existing gutters and downspouts.
Refurbish existing china hutch at dining room.
Provide soffits and bulkheads for exposed sprinkler piping.

Changes to the House Plans

The planned renovations to the interior of the house are outlined below:

Ground Floor / Basement Changes

Removal of existing masonry walls, boiler and boiler room. Replace with structural steel floor beam and columns.
Removal of all existing hot water heating piping.
Level floor with cementitious materials to allow for future sheet goods or ceramic floor finishes.
Creation of a ritual closet and a separate mechanical/electrical/sprinkler closet.
Creation of a Computer Learning Center.
Creation of a new 2nd flight of stairs for enhanced safety and egress from the lower level.
Provide new toilet and sink at powder room.

First Floor Changes

Create a new front vestibule with an entry into the living room.
Create a new study area.
Create a new stair entry to the lower level.
Refinish all wood flooring.
Repair and refurbish all finish wood trim.
Provide new fixtures and vanity at existing toilet room. Remove existing tub and create a new storage closet.
Upgrade kitchen to provide new range and hood, island cabinet, two refrigerators, double sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal, base and wall cabinets, closet and pantry.

Second Floor Changes Needed

Create 8 separate single-bed sleeping rooms. Each with individual HVAC units and thermostatic controls.
Create a new toilet room with two showers, sink and vanity, and toilet.
Refinish wood floors.
Repair and refurbish paneling and other wood trim.

Third Floor Changes Needed / Project Priorities*

Create a new toilet room with two showers, sink and vanity, and toilet.
Refinish wood floors.
Repair and refurbish paneling and other wood trim.
Provide MEP rough-ins for future establishment* of a new 4th sleeping room.
